August 30 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 1:1-7, Job 19-20, Luke 23:44-24:12

Reflection Verses:  Luke 23:46-47

Prayer:  Lord God, Jesus willingly gave up His life on the cross.  His death opened the way for salvation to all people. A Roman centurion standing beside the cross at Jesus’ death, was the first to believe. Many more have believed since, including me.

Prayer:  Holy Father, I believe in Your Son Jesus and I praise You, Father, for forgiving my sin and restoring my relationship with You through Jesus. Enable me to convince others to believe in Jesus and His atoning death on the cross that they may be saved… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
