Reflection Verse: Luke 24:32
Reflection: There is a spiritual heart transformation that occurs when God’s Word is explained to a person. When our hearts understand the Word, it somehow opens a connection between the hearer and God. Knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior is the beginning of our understanding of God in all scripture. And as the scriptures are explained to us we gain revelation knowledge of God’s love – which draws us closer to God the Father, and His great love for us.
Prayer: Lord God, I want to know You in the beauty of holiness. So, enable me, Lord, as I engage Your scriptures to have ears to hear and a heart to receive Your Word, that my spirit will be open to faith and a new life in You… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
