Scripture Readings: Psalm 123, 2 Chronicles 21-23, Luke 7:1-29

Reflection Verse: Psalm 123:2

Reflection:  We have nothing to do but wait and look to God. We have no other resource. We can do nothing if we turn away from Him. Our only hope and expectation is in God, and if we ever find relief, it must be in Him. The surest, in fact the only hope of relief is to wait on God; and it is the purpose of our souls to do this until we find help and deliverance.

Prayer: Father God, our focus is to be on You for everything we need. There is no place else to turn. We are totally dependent upon You and only You. Have mercy on us. Oh, Lord, my eyes look to You, for I am Your servant. There is no place other than You for me to look, for You are my help and provision. I look to You for You are my only source. Have mercy on me… In Jesus’ name. Amen.
