Scripture Readings: Psalm 99, 2 Samuel 3-4, I Corinthians 5
Reflection Verse: I Corinthians 5:1
Prayer: Eternal God our Father, the Apostle Paul is addressing the sexual sin that was going on in the Church in Corinth that would not even be accepted as okay even outside the church. Yet, it is going on and is being tolerated in the church. A son is having sexual relationship with his step mother, dishonoring his own father. This can’t be tolerated in the church and has to be dealt with. So, Paul tells them how. May my life be lived in such a way that I honor You, Lord, my spouse, my children and my grandchildren. May I glorify You, Lord, and be an example to follow… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
