Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 12:8-13, Isaiah 66 – Jeremiah 1, John 1:1-28

Reflection Verses:  John 1:2-3

Reflection:  Jesus was always with God from the beginning.  Jesus was there, participating in the creation – when everything came into being and nothing came into being apart from Jesus. Jesus is God! Jesus is The Word of God made flesh, Who came to earth and lived among men. If Jesus is not God, then we do not have salvation, nor eternal life, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Beloved, Jesus is very God of very God, therefore our salvation is secure. That ought to make somebody shout Hallelujah! 

Prayer:  Dear God, our Heavenly Father; Thank you for Jesus! Thank you for His work in creation, salvation and in sustaining us day by day. Thank You, Lord, that in Him we live and move and have our being. Thank You, God, that in Jesus, our salvation is secure…In Jesus Name.  Amen.
