Scripture Readings: Psalm 78:1-8, Joshua 15:13-16, Mark 1:1-20

Reflection Verses: Mark 1:17-18

Prayer: Lord God, what was it about Jesus that moved these disciples to give up their businesses to become His disciples? The love of God and the gospel message of repentance and believing in Jesus was so paramount in their lives that they could do nothing else. To become what Jesus unveiled for them became their quest. It could only be possible by leaving everything behind and totally embracing the gospel message. May I also press into that which Jesus has unveiled for me to be with this same passion and commitment… In Jesus name. Amen.
