Reflection Verses: Luke 14:28-30
Reflection: Beloved, there is a cost to being a disciple of Jesus the Christ. In fact, it costs us everything! Being His disciple means wanting and choosing to follow God through Him. It means relinquishing control of our lives and being completely obedient to the will of God through Jesus. Discipleship means that we choose to live our life for God through Jesus as taught by Jesus and as directed by the Holy Ghost. Beloved, I have acknowledged that from the start of my journey with God and it has been my privilege to serve Him and His interests.
Prayer: Holy Father, empower us today, that we may submit to Your will and live for You through Jesus, Your Son. Keep us mindful, Lord that what we do for You has eternal value and Divine weight. Help us to understand, Lord, that only what we do for You will last. Thank You Lord, for choosing us and enabling us to continue in Jesus, until we complete our journey with You as a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is in Jesus’ Name I pray… Amen.
