September 15 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 5:7-14, Ecclesiastes 11-12, 2 Timothy 1

Reflection Verse:  2 Timothy 1:7

Reflection:  When a person believes in God and serves God, that person’s natural instincts of being timid will begin to fade away. God somehow replaces our timid nature with His power, His love and sound judgment. When a person is indwelled by the Spirit of God, they will act differently as they represent God. Remember, it is God who empowers you and God will also keep you. So, Beloved, do not be afraid to do what you must do for the Kingdom of God!

Prayer:  Holy Father, thank You, for new life and this new nature that I have in You through Jesus Christ. Please help me to conquer my fears, Dear Lord. Continue to strengthen and mature me to reach beyond my abilities to do those things which are only possible through You… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
