September 11 Scripture Reading
Scripture Readings: Proverbs 4:1-9, Ecclesiastes 1-2, I Timothy 3
Reflection Verse: I Timothy 3:13
Reflection: When God calls someone to serve as a leader in the Local Assembly, it should be considered by that person as a privilege, an honor, and a solemn duty to be undertaken with much prayer, consideration, purpose and care. To serve God well as a church leader sustains a person’s faith, gives them more confidence and makes them a stronger Christian. It also opens more opportunities for them as servant leaders.
Prayer: Lord God, help me to be mindful, that how I serve in the Local Assembly is most important to me and for me. Lord, I desire to be a person You can always trust to seek You and follow You in what I do. Help me, Lord, in my desire to be an asset for Your use at the place where you planted me… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
